I am a social and cheerful wheelchair-bound woman in my 50s, living in my own apartment in Bjästa, about two miles south of Örnsköldsvik, with 24/7 personal assistance.

I am currently looking for several substitutes who can work both scheduled shifts and occasionally with short notice.

You are someone who enjoys coming up with activities, going for walks, visiting the cinema, or other outings. I prefer you to be an outgoing, happy, and positive person who can take initiative. Since my disability is extensive, I would appreciate if you have experience with personal assistance, but personal suitability weighs the most.

I believe you are a responsible and attentive person who finds it easy to collaborate with others and enjoys contributing to creating a meaningful and rich life for another human being.

I need help with everything in my daily life. This includes personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, household chores, transfers, and other daily tasks. I also need help with communication as I cannot speak, so it is important that you are attentive and aware of my needs. It is crucial that you speak fluent Swedish as you will be assisting me with communication.

We want you to start your introduction with me as soon as possible, so please do not wait until the last application date.

The job requires good physical fitness as there is some lifting involved, although lifting aids are available. It is important that you can work days and nights, both on weekdays and weekends, and are punctual. During night shifts, some hours are on-call time where you assist as needed. If you do not live in the immediate area, you must have a car and a driver's license to manage the working hours.

We have offices in Hudiksvall, Karlstad, Västerås, Östersund, and Umeå. Our goal is to enable our clients to live as independently as possible. We have collective agreements: Kommunal and Fremia for personal assistants. Vacation pay, overtime compensation, and other salary supplements apply according to the agreement.
