The area of Individual and Family works every day to improve the everyday life of Örnsköldsvik's citizens.

We are responsible for the social services authority's exercise of authority for children and adults in need of support and protection. Around our caseworkers, there are also managers, case supervisors, administrators, business developers, and other support functions where we work together to provide our community members with the right support at the right time.

The unit for financial assistance is looking for social workers/caseworkers. The work consists of investigating and following up on measures regarding financial assistance. Job Responsibilities

As a social worker/caseworker for financial assistance, you will investigate the right to financial assistance and assistance in the form of housing.

We collaborate with other units within the administration as well as external authorities such as the Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, and the healthcare system. You will work individually and in teams with other social workers/caseworkers with support from close management and case supervisors.

You will contribute with great commitment to the department's operational and development work.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for someone with a degree in social work or another higher education that the employer deems sufficient.

The positions are full-time 100% with immediate start or according to agreement;
2 permanent positions,
1 temporary position for 1 year with the possibility of extension,
1 special fixed-term position for 1 year.
