We are now looking for a school counselor for Ådalsskolan, one of three schools that make up Kramfors Gymnasium.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a school counselor, you play a central role and are an important part of the school's work to promote students' safety, study environment, and mental health. You provide individual support in psychosocial and motivation-related issues and conduct conversations, assessments, and action plans aimed at strengthening students' participation and school attendance. You also collaborate with social services, psychiatry, and other external actors to ensure that students receive comprehensive and professional support. In this role, you work closely with the student health team and collaborate closely with both teachers and school management, with the goal of creating a school where students thrive, develop, and feel safe.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker, behavioral scientist, or has another education that the employer deems relevant for the role of school counselor. You also have previous experience working in upper secondary school.

As a person, you are secure, attentive, and have good collaboration skills. You can work independently and in a structured manner while having a good ability to collaborate with both students, colleagues, and guardians.
