Team Leader for Summer Jobs in Nacka Municipality

Your Mission

As a team leader in Nacka Municipality, you will inspire and motivate Nacka's youth in their first summer job. Your main focus will be to lead groups of young people working summer jobs who together will enhance outdoor environments around Nacka. The goal is for the work to promote a pedagogical sustainable outdoor environment for children and youth in Nacka Municipality.

The assignment is carried out by Nacka Municipality in collaboration with preschool staff. As a team leader, you will inspire and suggest ideas on how the yards can be transformed with simple means and how the litter from Nacka's beaches can be turned into art. Together with the youth, the ideas will be created and realized.

We are looking for a team leader who can start as early as April and several team leaders starting in June. As a team leader, you will belong to a team of eight team leaders and two project managers.

Main Tasks:

• Lead and guide the youth in their tasks to together change and improve the outdoor environment
• Act as an inspirer and idea generator for the youth and the workplace
• Spread positive energy and create a good atmosphere among summer-working youth
• Work with social media to inspire and showcase the creative creations
• Collaborate and cooperate with involved parties, other team leaders, and workplaces

Your Experience

To be considered for the position, it is a requirement that you:

• Have a B driver's license and good driving experience
• Are available throughout the summer
• Have previous work experience
• Have a high school education

It is desirable if you have:

• Experience working with youth
• Experience in leading work
• Knowledge of carpentry and craftsmanship
• Interest in innovation and sustainability
• Experience working in project form

As a team leader, you are flexible, organized, and thrive in a varied environment. You take independent responsibility, work effectively within deadlines, and can make well-founded decisions when needed. Collaboration skills are important, and you are a responsive communicator who handles conflicts constructively. You are pedagogical, motivating, and come up with initiatives and ideas to solve work-related issues. We are looking for an engaged leader who enjoys creating structure and contributing to a positive work environment.

We place great importance on personal suitability and strive for a dynamic work environment with employees of different ages. The minimum age for the position is 18 years.
