ProfilHotels Central truly lives up to its name. There are few hotels in Stockholm that have the Central Station, with Arlanda Express and Flygbussarna, just across the street. When you step inside, you leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind. Here you will find modern, colorful rooms with a strong connection to Stockholm. The hotel also houses the French bistro La Gare.

We are looking for you – our new Head Chef!

Adjacent to ProfilHotels Central, you will find La Gare, a charming French bistro in central Stockholm.

Here, you are greeted by a warm atmosphere that evokes thoughts of Paris, where the simplicity of really good food and good company is the focus.

We are now looking for an engaged and experienced Head Chef who wants to help drive our kitchen forward. As a head chef, you are the heart of the kitchen and responsible for leading the kitchen team, ensuring the quality of the cooking, and contributing to an inspiring work environment. You love cooking with quality, deliver service with positive energy, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

We offer an exciting role in a small, close-knit team where we help each other across boundaries – with us, the restaurant and the hotel are one and the same group.

As a head chef, you are operationally responsible for the kitchen and lead the daily work with a focus on quality, service, and experience. You are committed, unpretentious, and ready to jump in where needed – all to create a well-functioning whole. You have overall personnel responsibility for the team and create joy at work while being demanding. Your working hours are mainly in operations distributed over days, evenings, and weekends.

Your main tasks include:

• Menu planning and development
• Cooking with a focus on quality and presentation
• Responsible for purchasing, cost control, and inventory management.
• Ensuring good food hygiene (HACCP)
• Work environment responsibility
• Personnel responsibility
• Part of the hotel's management team

We are looking for someone who has:

We see that you have documented experience as a head chef or sous chef with personnel responsibility as well as good knowledge of labor law and HRF's collective agreement. At least 3 years of experience in a la carte, preferably in French cuisine. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English. Personal qualities we see as important: pride in the industry, attentive, creative, solution-oriented, and have a structured goal-oriented approach. You also have good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen economics. You are driven and motivated by happy guests and colleagues!

The position is a permanent full-time employment, but a lower employment rate may be relevant if desired.
