We are building something completely new, a new Aspire Lounge at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. We are now looking for Kitchen Assistants who want to be involved from the start and help create a well-organized, safe, and high-quality kitchen environment that is an obvious part of the guest experience.

Aspire Lounges is a premium concept where the whole is crucial. Food, presentation, and order in the kitchen play an important role in providing travelers with a calm and thoughtful start to their journey.

Swissport operates over 80 Aspire Lounges worldwide and welcomes millions of travelers each year. With more than 35 years of experience in world-class service, we offer comfort, quality, and elegance in a calm and sophisticated environment. We are now establishing the Aspire concept in Sweden for the first time, with Stockholm Arlanda Airport as the starting point.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you are an important part of the kitchen's daily operations and contribute to ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. The role is operational and practical, focusing on order, quality, and collaboration. You work closely with the kitchen team and support daily operations by ensuring that preparations, service, and hygiene meet the required standards.

This is a role for you who thrive with clear tasks, a fast pace, and being part of a team where everyone contributes to the whole. You are meticulous, responsible, and have a positive attitude towards learning more about kitchen work and service.

In this role, you are responsible for contributing to a well-functioning and safe kitchen environment. You participate in basic food preparations according to given instructions and routines, assist during service, and ensure that buffet areas are kept clean, stocked, and inviting.

You actively work with dishwashing, cleaning, and order in the kitchen, including machines, work surfaces, and storage areas. You follow daily and weekly checklists and support the kitchen team by taking responsibility for assigned tasks. During deliveries, you assist with receiving and properly storing goods.

An important part of the job is to always follow applicable rules for food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety.

Requirements

• Basic education

• Valid training in food hygiene, equivalent to the basic level of food handling in Sweden

• Ability to work systematically and follow instructions

• Good teamwork skills and sense of responsibility

• Ability to work shifts

• Approved security clearance for work at the airport

Meritorious

• Previous experience from kitchen, restaurant, or food handling

• Interest in food, service, and quality

• Experience working in fast-paced environments
