Do you want to help create a unique meeting place in Stockholm?

Mötesplats Mariatorget is a vibrant social meeting place where people from different backgrounds and life situations come together around food, culture, and conversation. Here, the kitchen and bakery are a central part of the operation – both as a professional restaurant environment and as a place where we build relationships, participation, and context.

We are now looking for an experienced and committed chef with baking skills who wants to contribute to our mission and develop the operation together with us.

Responsibilities

  • Bake bread and pastries for the café and restaurant operations
  • Cook food in both hot and cold kitchens
  • Contribute to the development of menus and offerings based on quality, sustainability, and seasonality
  • Work flexibly in the kitchen and bakery according to the needs of the operation
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to an inclusive and professional work environment
  • Help create a welcoming place where food is used as a tool for community and meetings between people

To succeed in this role, you have

  • basic training in baking, kitchen, or equivalent relevant education
  • solid experience working in a professional kitchen and/or bakery
  • good knowledge of both cold and hot kitchens
  • interest in sustainable cooking, plant-based proteins, and nutrition is an advantage
  • experience working independently while also being a team player

About the position

The position covers 75–100% according to agreement. Work is scheduled, including evening and weekend shifts. We apply an initial probationary period. Start date according to agreement.
