Solbrännan is a neighborhood restaurant with a small café operation, located by the seaside in Österskär (the central area of Åkersberga). We serve lunch daily for most of the year, à la carte in the summer, and to some extent during spring and autumn, as well as a Christmas buffet in December. We also host events year-round, including music nights, fashion evenings, weddings, and other celebrations and gatherings for both companies and private individuals.
We are now looking for an experienced chef who enjoys and can cook from scratch, focusing primarily on traditional Swedish cuisine. We believe that you, the applicant, have experience from smaller establishments and can manage the hot kitchen independently; a cold kitchen assistant is available. We are a small, established team of honest, good people who show up when needed and help each other out, and we are looking for someone with the same values.
We are open every day of the week from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM during the part of the year when we are closed in the evenings, and in the summer, the kitchen closes at 9:00 PM.
10 minutes' walk from the Roslagsbanan train.
