Social Services Administration

The Social Services Administration operates under the principle that all people we meet have the same value and are unique. Within the administration, there are IFO, LSS operations, social psychiatry, health care, home care, and special accommodations. About 800 employees work around the clock to support our target groups.

A meaningful assignment in care and support

The position is part of a pool for all special accommodations, which means you will work across several units and provide support based on the needs of the operations.

As a specialist nursing assistant with us, you will perform regular nursing assistant tasks, but without case management or representative roles. In this role, you have a special responsibility based on the needs of the operations and actively contribute to developing the quality of care and support.

You will drive and participate in quality and improvement work, mentor colleagues, and develop working methods to create a safe and professional care environment. You will serve as an important resource within your specialist area and contribute to ensuring that care is provided with a preventive and rehabilitative approach.

Your responsibilities include introducing new employees and being a mentor for APL and LIA. You will work closely with unit managers, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to ensure that care maintains high quality and that the needs of users are at the center.

As a role model and ambassador for the operations, you promote person-centered care, welfare technology, and methods such as IBIC and BPSD. Your engagement contributes to the optimal use of the organization's resources and that development work is focused on quality and continuity.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you need to be a trained nursing assistant with a post-secondary education in care and support, elderly care, or dementia care. The education can be a vocational training program of at least 200 YH points or a university degree of at least 60 higher education credits with a clear focus on care and support.

You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, to communicate with users and document correctly. Basic computer skills are required.

We prefer that you have experience in mentoring, coaching, and operational development within care and support. Experience in advanced medical care is an advantage, as well as knowledge of social documentation and quality monitoring. A B driver's license is also an advantage.

To succeed in this role, you need to be self-driven and flexible. You collaborate easily, share your knowledge, and contribute to a positive work environment. Your ability to plan, take initiative, and work in a structured manner is important, as is your professional and calm demeanor in various situations.
