About the Workplace

Utsäljeskolan is a municipal school in Huddinge, including primary school and adapted primary school, located in a quiet residential area on the border between Stuvsta and Segeltorp. The school is a three-parallel F-8 school that will gradually grow to include grades F-9. Starting from the autumn term of 2024, the operations will be conducted in completely new premises with a brand new schoolyard. We currently have just over 600 students. When the school is fully developed in the autumn term of 2026, it is expected to accommodate about 850 students. The school has a well-functioning student health team and special educators who work closely with teachers in daily operations.

Job Description

We are looking for a secure and highly experienced primary teacher for leisure home who is passionate about creating a stimulating, positive, and safe environment for our students together with your colleagues. You will be part of a team where teachers and leisure educators together are responsible for having a holistic perspective on the students' school day in grade 2. Your role includes leading the values work with the students and planning the leisure activities. You will have close collaboration with colleagues, special teachers, various professionals in student health, and guardians. You are eager to constantly refine and improve the leisure activities and actively work to create a safe and predictable school environment where all students feel seen and respected.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an educated primary teacher for leisure home
• Has extensive experience in the profession
• Has documented experience and very good knowledge in working with students with special needs

You are flexible and have good collaboration skills, easily create good relationships, and cooperate with students, guardians, the team, the school's student health team, and school management. You have the ability to create a work environment characterized by safety, trust, and respect. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

For this position, you need to be able to present a valid extract from the criminal record before employment can begin.
