As a teaching assistant at Fridhem School's adapted primary school, you make a real difference in the students' everyday lives. You work closely with the students throughout the school day and during after-school activities, and you are an important part of a team that creates safety and individualized support with the student in focus. Your tasks

In the role of teaching assistant with us, you will be with the students throughout the school day as well as in our after-school and club activities. You collaborate with teachers in the classroom and provide support to students both individually and in groups. You contribute to creating a safe and accessible learning environment in which our students can develop both academically and socially. In addition to the pedagogical and social support, you will also assist students practically in all daily tasks and in the student's care based on needs.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a secondary education and has previous experience working with children and young people with significant disabilities, and we expect that you have a genuine interest in the target group. Working with students who have high care needs is not something you find difficult. You handle digital tools such as computers, tablets, etc., with ease in your work. It is an advantage if you have previous experience participating in the implementation and planning of teaching together with teachers and if you have experience and knowledge of various tools and methods for student support that are commonly used in adapted primary schools. It is also an advantage if you have previously worked as a resource educator.

You are flexible, meticulous, and committed to creating the best conditions for learning based on the student's prerequisites and needs. You have a clear student focus, the ability to create good relationships, and collaborate well with students, colleagues, guardians, and school management in a responsive and constructive manner.

Before you can be employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police's criminal record.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must present that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
