Your tasks

As a teacher in the learning studio, you work closely with students with different needs and conditions. Your main responsibility is to support students in reaching the goals of the curriculum, taking into account their individual abilities. You regularly plan together with colleagues in the learning studio and with the regular teaching teachers. You regularly follow up on students' development, identify their next steps for development, and use your expertise to give them the best possible conditions to succeed in larger contexts.

Collaboration is a central part of the work, both with students, colleagues, and guardians. Good and regular contact with home is crucial, as is close follow-up to promote students' development and well-being.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a certified primary school teacher for younger ages with experience working with students in need of special support. It is an advantage if you have experience working in a small teaching group. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as knowledge in ICT, such as working with computers and iPads.

As a person, you are calm, stable, and structured, even in pressured situations. You have good pedagogical insight and adapt teaching and interaction according to students' different needs. You are relationship-building, have good collaboration skills, and contribute to a safe and positive work climate.

We offer

Tibbleskolan is a primary school with activities from preschool class to grade 3 and after-school care for each grade. The school has approximately 220 students. Tibbleskolan is centrally located in Skultuna, and it only takes 20 minutes from Västerås to reach us. Romfartuna school is a small parallel primary school with activities from grade F to grade 3 with an after-school care. The school has about 60 students and is located in the countryside near Västerås.

Before you can be employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police criminal record.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a certificate of citizenship along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must present that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
