Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work together with your colleagues based on the school's governing documents and the needs of the students. You conduct modern and creative teaching where you find strategies to reach each student and strengthen their development both academically and socially. In collaboration with other school staff, you are responsible for a good learning and working environment for both students and staff and actively participate in the school's development work. An obvious part of your job is to be responsible for the musical part of the school's events and graduations.

Your qualifications

You are a certified teacher with the authority to teach music. You have a good ability to express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing and knowledge to handle computers and similar technical aids in your daily work. Previous experience in music teaching at the primary school level is a plus.

You are a responsive, responsible, and solution-oriented person. You continuously strive to develop your teaching through reflection, analysis, and collaboration with colleagues. You have a strong commitment to students' development and learning and have a good ability to meet people in a professional manner.

Herrgärdsskolan is a school with about 330 students from preschool to grade 5. Here you will find 50 competent and engaged colleagues who focus on the students. The environment around the school and the school itself is beautifully located and has recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. Additional information

The position is a temporary position at 80% lasting until 2026-12-18.

Before you can be employed, you need to present a valid extract from the police criminal record.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, the EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
