The unit for the elderly and administration in Skarpnäck is responsible for authority exercise and follow-up of decided interventions according to SoL and LSS, and we are now looking for a case officer to join us.

We offer
Our office is located at Björkhagsplan 6. In addition to the unit manager, a method developer works closely with the case officers in their daily work. Currently, there are 8 case officers working with authority exercise and follow-up, along with an elderly guide, administrative support, and special functions such as fee case officers, transport case officers, and financial managers. Within the same operational area, there is another unit with 7 case officers and a preventive operation. The case officers in both units collaborate extensively in their daily work. As a team, we actively work with quality management systems and development issues. There are great opportunities for further development through training and courses, as well as the possibility to specialize in one or more cutting-edge areas. Case officers typically handle about 50 cases each. As a newly hired case officer, you will receive a structured introduction with an assigned mentor. During the spring, the units will conduct Silvia training and get certified.
Your role
As a case officer, you will investigate needs, assess, and follow up on interventions for people over 65 according to SoL and LSS. The work involves contacts with many partners both within Stockholm City and externally, such as the region. The work as a case officer also includes individual follow-ups, planning discharges from inpatient care, and mapping violence in close relationships. Your work is based on legislation to ensure a legally secure assessment of assistance.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
• A completed degree in social work
• Good knowledge of current legislation
• A professional approach to authority exercise
It is an advantage if you have previous experience in case management within elderly care.
