As a nursing assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful life in their old age. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on the healthy aspects. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the elderly person's individual needs. Typical tasks include assisting with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, meal preparation and serving, as well as cleaning and laundry. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. It's a very exciting job!

Fatburen nursing home is a residence with 48 apartments spread over three floors and six departments. Fatburen nursing home is aimed at people with high care needs, 8 places, and people with cognitive impairments, 40 places.

Fatburen nursing home is located in the Vallby area in the western part of Västerås. There is a nice garden adjacent to the residence and plenty of walking paths in the area. It is easy to reach the residence by public transport.

Ängsklockan nursing home is a residence for people with high care needs. The residence offers 47 apartments spread over 3 floors. Each floor is a department, which means that 15-16 residents live together on the same department with a shared kitchen and common room.

The residence is located in Gideonsberg, close to both the duck pond and green areas. Within walking distance, there are grocery stores and restaurants. It is easy to reach the residence by public transport.

As a summer substitute with us, you will get access to Cappy - an app that gives you an overview of your working hours and salary in real time. We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Also, you should have an easy time collaborating with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is meritorious if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.

• It is strongly meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

• We would like you to have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

• We would like you to have experience working with people with cognitive difficulties/dementia.

Employment form: Summer substitute, on-demand employment

Extent: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026.

If you have the opportunity to start working earlier, the possibilities for hourly employment before the summer holidays may become relevant.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
