The Role of Nursing Assistant Day/Evening

As a nursing assistant in medical care unit B, focusing on GAVA (geriatric acute care) and nephrology, you are a central part of the daily care work. You work closely with patients and are part of a team with nurses, doctors, and other professionals to ensure safe, secure, and person-centered care.

Your tasks include care work, monitoring vital parameters, sampling, catheterization, wound dressings, and documentation. The work is varied and stimulating, where no day is like the other. We work according to the right use of competence (RAK), which means that your skills are utilized, and you work with tasks that match your education and experience.

Your Future Workplace

The medicine and geriatrics clinic is the largest clinic at Värnamo Hospital and brings together several operations under one roof. Within inpatient care, we have three care units with different medical focuses. In unit B, we care for patients in acute geriatrics and nephrology.

Our facilities are modern and well-planned, and we have a strong focus on teamwork and the best interests of the patient. Here, both experienced employees and new colleagues work together in a friendly and professional environment with short decision-making paths. To ensure a safe start, we offer a tailored introduction and shadowing based on your previous experiences.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has a genuine interest in people and care. You have a good demeanor and contribute to creating safety for our patients. Previous experience in hospital care is an advantage but not a requirement. Experience with the Cosmic journal system is also an advantage.

You work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and find it easy to collaborate and communicate with others. You thrive in a job where the pace can vary and where you need to be flexible when conditions change. Our Offer to You

We offer a full-time temporary position until the turn of the year 26/27 with a start date according to agreement. Fixed schedules apply.
