The Role of Occupational Therapist

The position primarily involves occupational therapy assessment and intervention in the ward and outpatient clinic. You will meet individuals with cognitive impairments and Parkinson's disease, as well as many elderly patients with complex health issues.

The occupational therapist plays a significant and appreciated role in the geriatric team. As an occupational therapist, you also have an important role in collaboration for a safe and secure discharge after hospitalization. Student supervision is included in the assignment.

The position is a permanent full-time role, starting on 2026-05-01 or as agreed. Weekend work is included every 10th Saturday and occasionally during major holidays.

No matter where in the county one lives, patients should have access to equitable rehabilitation of good quality. Approximately 300 employees work within the Rehabilitation Center across 11 areas with a cross-professional composition based on a person-centered approach.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist with a genuine interest in geriatrics and preferably experience in cognitive assessments.

You are structured, collaborate well, and have a holistic view where the patient and their relatives are involved. We place great emphasis on teamwork and health-promoting work.
