Pediatric Dentistry Department
The Dental Institution in Jönköping is now announcing a regional position for specialization training in pediatric dentistry. The Dental Institution in Jönköping is one of the country's educators of specialist dentists with over 200 graduated specialists. In addition to clinical specialist dental care and research, specialist training is an important part of the activities within all nine specialties.
We are looking for you who are a general dentist with a strong interest in pediatric dentistry. Our department consists of 20 employees who together work with children in focus. We are also one of the few pediatric departments with EAPD accreditation.

We are looking for
We are looking for someone who wants to help create the future of dental care and be part of the solution for patients referred for specialist dental care. You are a licensed dentist and have practiced general dentistry, including dental care for children and adolescents, for at least 2 years. You should be able to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
As a person, you have a positive attitude and enjoy collaborating with others. Together with your supervisors, you drive your development forward and take personal responsibility for achieving the training goals according to HSLF-FS 2017:77. Great consideration is given to personal suitability.

We offer you a regional position for specialization training that covers full-time for at least 3 years starting September 1, 2026.
In your role as a resident dentist with us, you will receive clinical training, often in a multidisciplinary collaboration, one of the many advantages of having all nine specialties gathered in the same organization. It is a given for us that you learn to see the whole patient.

This is what you will work with
The clinical part of the training will challenge and develop your clinical skills through encounters with the entire treatment panorama of pediatric dentistry on referred patients. You will have access to supervision. The training includes a comprehensive theoretical part with courses and seminars aimed at developing a scientific approach. You will have a main supervisor, but other senior dentists and staff in the department will also be involved in your training.
