The Role of Nurse/Ophthalmic Nurse

The tasks include both independent patient visits and teamwork. The Eye Clinic conducts activities in areas such as cataract, glaucoma, retina, diabetes, pediatrics, and surgical operations, and you will work in several of these areas. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. The position is a full-time temporary position with a start date according to agreement.

Högland Hospital in Eksjö is one of three hospitals in Region Jönköping County. Here, planned and emergency specialist care is provided around the clock. Approximately 110,000 people live in the catchment area. The Eye Clinic at Högland Hospital in Eksjö consists of about 25 employees from various professional groups. We are a small clinic with a good community and value each other's knowledge and experiences.

Your Profile

You are a licensed nurse with an interest in eye care. If you are a trained ophthalmic nurse, preferably with experience, we consider it an advantage. We appreciate employees who take responsibility for their tasks and embrace them with enthusiasm. In our team, we welcome initiative and innovation and think it is important that you dare to act according to your own convictions. It is also important that you can adapt when circumstances change.
