The role of the dietitian

As a dietitian within the Habilitation Center in Eksjö, you have a care relationship with both children and adults with disabilities. You work with the nutrition treatment process, including investigation, assessment, treatment, and follow-up.

Together with other dietitian colleagues, you provide professional competence at the clinic and unit. Your contributions occur both individually and in collaboration with other professionals in the habilitation team. The work involves collaboration with various activities within the region as well as in the municipalities you work with. The municipal activities we collaborate with mainly consist of preschools, schools, housing, daily activities, and the municipality's health and medical care.

The Habilitation Center Region Jönköping County is a consolidated resource that works with specialized interventions for people with permanent disabilities. With us, you will find child, youth, and adult habilitation, as well as vision centers, hearing habilitation, and interpretation centers.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is a trained licensed dietitian. We prefer that you have previous experience working with individuals with acquired disabilities. With us, you are part of our habilitation teams. In the teams, you contribute your experience and knowledge as a dietitian. Our teams work for collaboration and team spirit.

To thrive with us, you have a flexible and structured working style. You have good social skills and the ability to collaborate, as much of the work involves close cooperation with other professionals and activities. We place great importance on personal suitability.

As travel is included in the position, a B driver's license is desirable.

We offer you work in a transdisciplinary team consisting of occupational therapists, social workers, speech therapists, doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, nurses, special educators, and medical administrators where you provide dietetic expertise. Together, you will solve exciting, challenging, and varied tasks. You will also have regular professional meetings and training days with additional dietitian colleagues in the region.
