Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP)

In Region Jämtland Härjedalen, we are a specialized service that offers support, assessment, and treatment for children and adolescents up to 18 years old with mental health issues. We work with everything from anxiety, depression, and distress to neuropsychiatric diagnoses and complex psychiatric conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct psychological assessments, neuropsychiatric evaluations, and treatments for children and adolescents with complex issues.
• Support colleagues through supervision, consultation, and training, including PTP psychologists.
• Work closely with doctors, nurses, social workers, and other professionals to create comprehensive solutions for patients.
• Implement evidence-based methods in clinical practice.
• Ability to drive improvement initiatives and create development projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed psychologist with specialist qualifications in clinical child and adolescent psychology (or equivalent relevant specializations).
• Good experience in psychological work within child and adolescent psychiatry or related psychiatric services.
