Kungälv Municipality is seeking an experienced and committed construction worker for the Community Building Sector – Construction Management.

Job Responsibilities

As a construction worker at Kungälv Municipality, you will work with:

• New and renovation work on roads, pavements, water and sewage systems, park areas, and playgrounds.
• Traffic arrangements such as signage, closures, and road markings.
• Excavation, land preparation, paving, stone setting, asphalting, pipe laying, and cable installation.
• Maintenance of signs, traffic arrangements, stormwater facilities, and structures.
• Machine and tool management, as well as minor repairs.
• Emergency measures in cases of water leaks, storm damage, and winter road maintenance.
• Documentation through checklists, time reports, and quality documents.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we prefer that you have:

• Construction education or equivalent practical experience (approx. 3 years).
• Driver's license B.
• Operator's license for wheel loader/tool carrier and forklift.
• Training in Work on Roads, CPR, Hot Work.
• Experience in reading blueprints, measuring, and setting out.
• Ability to work independently within your area of responsibility.
• Good collaboration skills and communication abilities.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Chainsaw certificate A, B, and C.
• Driver's license C.
• Operator's license for excavator.
