Administrator/Receptionist for Our School

We are currently seeking an administrator/receptionist for our school. You will play a central role in the organization and are often the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors.

About the Role

The position is a permanent employment at 87.5% and involves a varied job that combines administrative tasks with a clear service and reception role. In this role, you will among other things:

  • Work with personnel administration such as writing employment contracts, following up on absences, and handling payroll documentation
  • Be responsible for purchases and orders
  • Prepare administrative documents for the school management
  • Receive absence notifications from staff
  • Receive and register visitors and distribute visitor badges
  • Staff the school reception, answer questions, and handle incoming phone calls
  • Provide service to students, for example by lending out games and table tennis paddles
  • Order food and snacks as needed, set up and clean up, and contribute to creating a pleasant school environment through simple decorations
  • Perform other administrative tasks that may arise in the organization

Your Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A high school diploma, preferably with a focus on administration, economics, or equivalent
  • Post-secondary education in administration, public administration, or similar is an advantage
  • Experience in administrative work, preferably within schools or public organizations
  • Good computer skills and experience with administrative IT systems
