JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for two medical secretaries to join us! One position is a permanent employment and the other is a temporary position for about a year.

As a medical secretary with us, you will have a central and significant role in the organization. You will be an important administrative support to several professional categories and contribute to creating structure, continuity, and high quality in our care work. The tasks are varied and include dictation writing, handling incoming mail, referral administration, telephone service, and work in 1177. You will also be responsible for administrative tasks such as patient registrations, bookings, and some reception work, which makes you involved in the entire patient flow.

Digitalization is a focus both at the clinic and within Region Skåne. We actively work with services such as internet-based treatment, speech recognition, and digital appointment booking. Therefore, we are looking for someone with an interest in IT, digital development, and who wants to be involved in driving these methods forward.

QUALIFICATIONS

Regarding your formal qualifications, we are looking for someone with an approved education in health and medical administration (KY 80p/YH 400 p) or equivalent medical secretary training. You have good knowledge of the Office suite, medical terminology, and the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Knowledge of relevant IT systems such as Melior, PASIS/VÅPS, and Qlik-View is also an advantage.

You have excellent collaboration skills and work well both with colleagues within the unit and in contact with our care neighbors. You communicate clearly and structured and can adapt your dialogue according to the recipient and situation. A friendly, respectful, and professional approach is a natural part of your way of working, both in meetings with patients and in contact with colleagues. Since the job involves many meetings with different people, it is also important that you have a pronounced sense of service and can act in accordance with Region Skåne's values; welcoming, driving, caring, and respect.
