Lapplands Learning Center is the joint operation for adult education and higher education institutions in Gällivare, Jokkmokk, Kiruna, and Pajala. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position includes teaching SFI (Swedish for immigrants) at levels A-D. You will belong to our SFI team where you will work together to develop teaching and operations. Other tasks may also be included in the assignment, e.g., related to integrated education for newcomers with extended educational obligations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher qualified to teach SFI. If you have a teaching license in another subject than SFI, there may be an opportunity to obtain qualification during employment. You should have good pedagogical skills and a strong commitment to adult learning.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and pedagogical ability. Experience working with digital teaching materials and tools is an advantage. We expect you to be flexible, have a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to collaborate easily with others, as well as being driven, engaged, and having a positive view of students.
