Your Responsibilities

As a special teacher/special educator at Gränsskolan, you are a key person in the school's student health work. You work at the organizational, group, and individual levels with a focus on developing learning environments that promote all students' learning and well-being. Gränsskolan is currently in a phase where we are reshaping the organization and working methods of the student health team. This gives you a great opportunity to shape your new role together with the student health team at Gränsskolan.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• being a support for teachers in the pedagogical work,
• analyzing and following up on students' needs,
• working closely with students,
• participating in the school's student health team,
• contributing to the school's systematic quality work,
• mentoring colleagues and contributing to the development of inclusive working methods.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has a special teacher/special educator degree or equivalent and preferably experience working at the secondary level. You have a good ability to build relationships and enjoy collaborating in interdisciplinary teams.

You have a solution-focused approach, see opportunities rather than obstacles, and believe that all students can succeed – with the right support and the right environment.

The Employment

Gränsskolan is a school in a strong development phase, and we have high expectations for staff to participate in and contribute to development work.

According to the Education Act, a criminal record extract must be presented when employed in preschool, preschool class, after-school care, primary school, and secondary school. We therefore encourage you to order an extract from the criminal record immediately after submitting your application.
