About Östra School

At Östra School, approximately 200 students in grades 4-9 attend, and we work to develop teaching and increase students' knowledge. We are looking for someone who wants to work as a teacher in the middle school.

As a newly hired, permanent employee in Jokkmokk municipality for this position, we have the opportunity to offer you a Stay-on insurance if you meet the following criteria:

• You must not have previously held a permanent position with the same role.
• You are registered as a resident, or will register in connection with employment.
• You must not have received the municipality's scholarship for post-secondary studies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for planning and conducting daily teaching. Documentation, assessment of students' knowledge development, and contact with guardians are part of your work. As an educator at the school, you are also responsible for developing the pedagogical work in collaboration with colleagues, all according to the curriculum for compulsory school and the BUN's operational plan.

You work in a team and are a mentor for a number of students. You will work in grades 4-6 where you place students, good relationships, and knowledge development at the center.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach in grades 4-6. You are a natural leader in the classroom and have good pedagogical skills as well as strong subject knowledge. Naturally, you have a relationship-building approach in your interactions with students, guardians, and colleagues.

The salary range for this position is between 36,000 - 42,000 SEK/month full-time. We apply individual salary setting based on your experience and competence.
