Technical Sales Representative in Security – Stockholm

As a Technical Sales Representative in Security at Tidomat AB, you will play a key role in the company's continued growth within access control systems and burglary alarms. You will work with sales, training, and technical support of Tidomat products towards resellers and end customers, including municipalities, regions, government agencies, and to some extent the private sector.

The role is broad and combines technical competence, relationship building, and business understanding. You will be an important link between the customer, resellers, and internal functions such as development and product management. The work takes place both on-site with customers and from the office in Årsta, Stockholm.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with:                            

  • Sales of Tidomat hardware and software within access control systems and burglary alarms.
  • Contract management related to sales and follow-up.
  • Exploring and developing existing and new business areas and their opportunities.
  • Technical advice and support to resellers and end customers.
  • System design and preparation of technical documentation.
  • Planning and conducting technical product training.
  • Presentation of product news, updates, and application areas.
  • Participation in customer meetings, trade fairs, seminars, and industry events.
  • Preparation of training materials and presentation materials.
  • Collaboration with product managers and the development department.

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Documented work experience in access control systems and burglary alarms.
  • 5 years of experience in technical sales, product training, and/or technical support.
  • Technical education or several years (at least 5 years) of technical work experience in the industry.
  • Good presentation skills and pedagogical ability.
  • Experience working closely with customers and building long-term relationships.
  • Basic understanding of design and technical solutions.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Interest and willingness to further educate yourself with the training assigned to you.
  • Driver's license B
  • A clean criminal record.

Meritorious

  • Experience with Tidomat products.
  • Knowledge of design within lock and security systems.
  • Certification as a qualified engineer in burglary.
  • Certification as a qualified engineer in CCTV.
