About the Role

As a special education teacher with us, you will work directly with students in need of support and provide special educational guidance to colleagues. You will work across all grades from preschool to grade 9.

In your work, you will help assess needs and plan and implement measures so that students can best benefit from the education.

You are a clear, creative, and secure pedagogical leader with good knowledge of using digital aids.

You will be part of the school's student health team alongside the principal, vice principals, special education teachers, counselors, school nurses, school psychologists, and school doctors. Together, we work proactively, preventively, and supportively for all students – as well as through targeted interventions where needed.

You will collaborate closely with other special education teachers and contribute to maintaining an overview of the school’s special educational needs and how resources are best allocated. You will also lead ESM (student support meetings) together with work teams and counselors.

We are looking for someone who:

• takes advantage of students' interests and curiosity
• takes responsibility and enjoys continuing to grow in your teaching role

We are looking for someone who is a qualified special education teacher. A focus on mathematics development is an advantage.
