About the American High School The American High School was founded based on a strong educational idea. About the American High School, Stockholm - Essingen

- The school is now in its fifth academic year.

- The school has approximately 600 students studying in the Natural Science and Technology Program, the Business Program, or the Social Science Program.

About the Role

As a substitute teacher, you will teach our students when the regular teacher is not present. You are expected to lead the lessons based on our educational structure, which you will receive guidance in. You will teach in a digital environment using digital teaching materials in combination with traditional literature. Instruction will be conducted in both Swedish and English.

The position is a part-time employment where you work as needed. There is a demand for good availability and great flexibility, where we may sometimes call you in for substitute work on short notice the same day. Start date as soon as possible. The employment extends until 2026-06-14.

Your Profile

We primarily seek someone with a teaching license and previous teaching experience, or other experience deemed relevant by the employer. You are expected to have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written forms. You have the ability to use a wide range of digital teaching materials and possess a solid digital competence.
