Botkyrka Municipality is the sixth largest municipality in Stockholm County and consists of the districts Alby, Fittja, Hallunda, Norsborg, Tullinge, Tumba, Vårsta, and Grödinge. Botkyrka Municipality has approximately 95,000 inhabitants and over 6,400 employees.

The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, after-school care, primary school, high school, and adapted primary and secondary schools. We have over 3,200 employees at 45 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four high schools. The position and job responsibilities

Tullinge High School is peacefully and beautifully located about a fifteen-minute walk from Södertörn University, halfway between Flemingsberg station and Tullinge station.

We offer five national programs – EK, NA, SA, TE, and VO – and have engaged students and teachers.

Are you interested in working as a substitute teacher? We are now looking for more hourly substitutes in subjects such as Business Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology for our substitute pool. This is not a permanent substitute position but is set up as an hourly employment where the extent varies based on our needs and your qualifications. Assignments can range from single lessons to several days. As a substitute teacher, you are expected to create a calm and safe environment and to conduct teaching based on given instructions. We work in Google Classroom and Vklass. There may also be assignments as an exam invigilator. The employment is primarily for the fall, but there may be an opportunity for extension during spring 2025.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with good communication and collaboration skills, who enjoys teaching and can quickly adapt to new tasks. We prefer that you have previous teaching experience and subject knowledge beyond the high school level.

Since we often need substitutes at short notice, it is an advantage if you live or study near the school.

Meritorious:

• University studies in a relevant subject.
• Experience working as a teacher.
• Experience with Vklass or Google Classroom.
