Viksjöskolan is a municipal school for grades 7-9 with approximately 670 students. Our school has good resources such as special educators, social educators, school psychologists, counselors, school nurses, study and career counselors, and IT technicians.

As a new employee at Viksjöskolan, you will receive a mentor during your first school year. You will also have many colleagues who collaborate and challenge each other. Additionally, you will receive ongoing professional development throughout the year.

Viksjöskolan has its own kitchen that serves food appreciated by both students and staff, offering three dishes daily along with a variety of vegetables and often freshly baked bread.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our teacher of English and French will be on parental leave, and we are therefore looking for a substitute for her. We are seeking a teacher who can teach both English and French. Teaching French in grade 6 is also included as students from two neighboring schools have their language instruction at Viksjöskolan. The position also includes mentorship for a class together with a co-mentor.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with good leadership skills, an ability to collaborate easily, and a strong capacity to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and who also values the importance of developing together with others. You also need to have good knowledge of Swedish. You must also be qualified with a Swedish teaching license in the subjects you will be teaching.
