Being a nurse on wards 56/58 is an exciting job where you meet patients with many complex diagnoses. You will have the opportunity to develop and use your skills in both acute care and in assessing nursing and rehabilitation efforts. The pace and tasks will vary during your shift. Here, you will follow patients for several days up to several months. We work person-centered together in teams. Individual introduction will be offered.

Nurse Night Rehabilitation Medicine/Rehabilitation Geriatrics Acute Geriatrics Falun Job Responsibilities

Wards 56 and 58 are located in the same premises and work together. On ward 56, you will work with the target group rehabilitation medicine, and on ward 58 with the target group rehabilitation geriatrics and acute geriatrics. On ward 56, patients of working age who have suffered strokes, brain injuries, or spinal cord injuries are primarily cared for. The care aims for the patient to achieve increased function with autonomy, activity, and participation in their life situation. On ward 58, patients are cared for in general geriatrics, stroke rehabilitation, and orthopedic rehabilitation. Multimorbid elderly patients make the work interesting, and you will gain a broad range of skills. From February, ward 58 will run an exciting project with acute geriatric beds. Most of the admissions will be from the emergency department.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse

Meritorious:

• Experience from previous work in rehabilitation medicine
• Education in rehabilitation medicine
• Specialist education in elderly care
• Experience from acute geriatrics/emergency care department
