Avesta is located in southern Dalarna with good train connections to, among others, Arlanda (1 hour), Stockholm (1.5 hours), Uppsala, Västerås, and Gävle. The municipality is active and growing, with both larger industries and many smaller companies. There is a wide range of leisure activities and sports, rich nature with the Dalälven river passing through the center, as well as a vibrant cultural life including the annual exhibition Avesta Art.

Folktandvården Örnen is a modern shift clinic that has operated in this setup for over 13 years. Here, there are 8 dentists, 4 dental hygienists, about 22 dental nurses, and administrative staff. We work entirely digitally with a journal system (T4), X-ray, and impression scanner, and also have portable nitrous oxide equipment. The clinic offers a wide range of treatments with expertise in areas such as piezo surgery, implant surgery, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and prosthetics. The clinic is centrally located in Avesta with good communications. If needed, we can assist with housing through the municipality's property company.

We are now looking for a general dentist for our clinic in Avesta who has a strong commitment and interest in quality-oriented dental care for children and adults, who wants to work with us to make our vision a reality.

As a general dentist, you will have varied job responsibilities and meet patients of all ages with all types of treatments. With us, you will have an interesting and developing job, a collegial atmosphere, and the opportunity for a rich leisure life. For experienced dentists, mentoring of newly graduated dentists and dental students is included as part of the job.

Requirements:

• Swedish dental license
• You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience with the T4 journal system
• Experience in pediatric dentistry and sedation of both children and adults

You collaborate well with others, communicate attentively, and treat both patients and colleagues with respect. You have a good sense of service and involvement, and you engage the patient in treatment options. You are structured and can prioritize effectively. We place great importance on personal suitability.
