Are you an initiative-taking and positive person who is passionate about food, sales, and first-class service? Then you might be exactly who we are looking for!
We are now looking for a new employee for our store Coop Sjuntorp. We want you, as an applicant, to have a good understanding of how a store should be run and a good sense of priorities regarding what needs to be done in the store. In addition, you have positive energy that is contagious, see the customer's needs, and deliver the industry's best customer service with pride and joy.
As a person, you are creative and are happy to come up with suggestions and ideas and find it easy to work in a team. You have an eye for detail and the commitment to create a welcoming, sales-oriented, and inspiring store. You are driven by challenges, see opportunities, and have a desire to continuously develop and streamline both the business and yourself.
You will get to work with all the tasks that are commonly found in a store, for example;
- Working at the checkout
- Restocking shelves and fronting
- Building displays on sales tables and ends
- Working with inventory and shrinkage
- Conducting self-checks
- Keeping the store clean and tidy
Together with your colleagues, you will be the face of the store, and for you, the customer is number one. You find it easy to create long-term customer relationships and have the ability to inspire customers to enjoy shopping. You thrive on being active and working with your body. Working in a store offers you a varied job in sometimes a fast-paced environment, and it is important that you feel comfortable handling stressful situations.
Previous experience in retail is a requirement, and you are welcome to have experience with evening/on-call responsibilities. Personal suitability is at least as important to us at Coop.
The position is a temporary contract of 29 hours/week during the period from March 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026. The working hours are mainly scheduled for evenings, but shifts in the morning or daytime may occur. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
If you want to know more about the position, please contact Store Manager Joachim Gylebrandt at phone: 010-747 04 21 or email: [email protected]

The new Coop will stand for attractive store experiences with affordable food, strong private labels, a unique membership program, and clear leadership in ecology, health, and sustainability. In short: We want to be the positive force in Swedish grocery retail.
With about 650 stores in Sweden and 3.4 million members, Coop is Sweden's only member-owned grocery chain.
We value the qualities that a balanced age and gender distribution as well as ethnic and cultural diversity bring to the business.
