Do you want to work with investigation and administration in a role where accuracy, service, and quality are at the center? Do you have experience in administration related to disability pensions? Would you like to be part of a safe and caring team where knowledge is shared and developed over time? Then you might be the one we are looking for to join Alecta's group for Private Customer Disability Pension.
About the role The Customer department consists of about 100 knowledgeable and engaged employees. There are six different groups, and you will belong to the Private Customer Disability Pension group. You will work closely with colleagues within the Customer department. Over time, your tasks may be adjusted to meet the needs of the department.
As a case handler in disability pension, you will investigate and administer cases that are not automatically handled in our systems. You will work with ITP's disability pension, and your mission is to ensure that each customer receives the correct compensation according to applicable regulations and agreements. In practice, this means that you will carefully investigate deviations, engage in dialogue with both customers and employers via phone and email, and make decisions based on clear guidelines. Therefore, the role requires both structure, accuracy, and good communication skills.
You will not make any medical decisions, as these have already been determined by the Social Insurance Agency. Instead, you will focus on issues related to salary, compensation levels, payment periods, and other conditions in the insurance case. It is a complex area where quality weighs heavier than speed, and it takes time to build a safe and sustainable competence. We expect it will take a couple of years before you are fully independent in the role, which makes it valuable if you already have experience in disability pensions or related occupational pension administration.
You will become part of an experienced and close-knit group consisting of 19 colleagues of various ages and backgrounds in the field. The team includes both a training manager and a business specialist, as well as colleagues who partially work together with our agile development teams.
Who are you? To thrive and succeed in this role, we hope you have previous experience in disability pensions or related occupational pension administration.
You work in a structured and meticulous manner, and you have a professional and friendly approach that makes customers feel safe and understood. The role requires good communication skills, both verbally and in writing, as well as the ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously in a methodical way.
It is advantageous if you have a post-secondary education; however, what matters most to us is that you have the right experience, understanding of the field, and an interest in contributing to work where quality, care, and accuracy are at the center.
