The Discrimination Ombudsman (DO) is an authority that works for a society free from discrimination. The authority is tasked with supervising the discrimination law, which prohibits discrimination in various areas of society. They also aim to ensure that discrimination does not occur in any areas of social life and otherwise work for equal rights and opportunities regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, sexual orientation, or age. About the assignment
We at Novare are a proud and approved supplier of the government framework agreement in Sweden. We are now looking for an HR specialist for the Discrimination Ombudsman in Stockholm.
As an HR specialist at the authority, you will primarily work to support their recruitment efforts. You will be part of the authority's HR section, but you are expected to work somewhat independently. Your tasks will also include providing support and advice on other HR-related issues as well as ongoing personnel administration.
For this role, we are looking for someone who is collaborative and solution-oriented. You are confident in your knowledge and can structure your work well.
Examples of overall tasks:
- Be a professional support and work operationally in relation to managers within the HR area regarding recruitment
- Participate in the entire recruitment process from drafting requirement profiles to making decisions about who has been hired
- Work both independently and together with colleagues in the section on areas such as competence supply, contract, and salary-related issues based on our agreements
- Participate in other tasks occurring in the HR section, such as contract administration and training
- Work with ongoing personnel administration.
Requirements for the position
- Academic degree from the PA program
- At least three (3) years of relevant work experience
- Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
- Knowledge of HR systems (e.g., Heroma, Primula, etc.)
- Knowledge of recruitment tools (e.g., ReachMee, etc.)
- Good knowledge of laws and regulations within the HR area
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Good knowledge of English, both orally and in writing
- Current experience of having worked operationally with recruitment and competence-based recruitment
- Current experience of providing consultative support to managers in the recruitment process
- Current experience of providing consultative support to managers in various HR-related issues
- Ability to be unpretentious and solution-oriented.
Assignment period and scope
The assignment is full-time, starting as soon as possible and running until September 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension. The place of work is at the authority in Stockholm, with the possibility of some remote work.
