Description

The Unit for Housing and Support, BOOST, is led by a unit manager and two group leaders. The unit includes a support accommodation for youth aged 16-21, a residential care home for youth aged 13-20, a residence for adults with dependency issues, and a residence for adults with psychiatric disabilities.
We are now looking for an engaged therapist to join our team at Kastanjegården HVB! Kastanjegården HVB is a residence for youth and young adults aged 13-20, located in Reftele. Kastanjegården also has support apartments for youth aged 16-20. The youth living at Kastanjegården have decisions according to SoL or LVU. A central part of your work will be to motivate and support the youth in developing their abilities and strengths, as well as helping them create a change mindset based on their individual action plans. Your approach should be characterized by a low-arousal approach, which creates trust and safety for the youth. Building strong and trusting relationships is crucial in your work.
Responsibilities
As a therapist at Kastanjegården HVB, you have a central role in supporting youth and young adults aged 13-20. Your work mainly consists of conducting goal-oriented treatment work based on individual action plans, where you adapt interventions according to each youth's specific needs and circumstances. This means that you actively contribute to their personal development and independence while building trusting relationships that create a safe environment for them.
Your role also includes a contact person assignment, where you are responsible for planning and coordinating care for specific youth. This includes maintaining regular contact with internal and external partners, such as schools, social services, and other care providers. You lead both individual and group therapy sessions, using therapeutic methods to support the youth's development and help them manage their challenges.
An important part of your work is to document in the operational system Combine, which means that you continuously update action plans, make journal notes, and ensure that all documentation is correct and up to date. You also contribute to creating and adapting the living environment so that it is safe, structured, and tailored to the specific needs of the youth. Through your work, you make a significant difference in the lives of the youth and help them find new paths forward.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is educated as a behavioral scientist, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or has other education that the employer deems equivalent. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, and we are looking for a person who is secure, attentive, humble, stress-resistant, and has a professional demeanor. Experience working with the target group is an advantage. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as computer skills and experience with documentation.
We would like you to have knowledge of motivational interviewing and low-arousal approaches. Your teamwork should be characterized by collaboration skills and a willingness to participate in the development of the organization. You are expected to have good cooperation with your manager and colleagues, both in your workplace and within the municipal group. Taking responsibility, being solution-oriented, and the ability to create meaningful relationships with the youth are central to this role.
