We Show the Way When Life Changes
In our work, we encounter both life and death. Being there when life takes a new turn with grief and uncertainty is an important task. It requires courage. We guide and support people in situations when life can be the hardest. Through our way of being and acting, with security, care, and guidance, we are there to create the finest farewell. A final personal goodbye.
A Job Close to Life and Death
As a customer advisor/representative, you build trust and confidence with our customers and are the guide in a time that for many is filled with grief and uncertainty. Working with funerals is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's different needs. You take overall responsibility for planning and adapting the ceremony according to the customer's needs and wishes while always having the support of colleagues who are close at hand.
In this role, you work equally with customer meetings and care as well as with burials and ceremonies. You meet people in life's most vulnerable moments and have an important task in creating security, structure, and dignity throughout the funeral process.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Meeting relatives with warmth and presence, listening to their needs, and providing secure guidance in planning and executing the funeral ceremony
- Supporting choices regarding ceremony forms, coffins, urns, and other details – always with respect for each family's wishes, traditions, and life situation
- Being a continuous support for relatives throughout the process, from the first contact to follow-up after the ceremony
- Preparing cost estimates and handling invoicing and payments clearly and gently
- Coordinating and maintaining close contact with florists, congregations, faith communities, and authorities to ensure a safe and well-functioning execution
- Representing the organization at ceremonies in churches, chapels, and other gathering places and contributing to a calm and dignified atmosphere
- Handling the deceased with the utmost respect in connection with, among other things, wrapping and burial
For our customer area in South Stockholm, consisting of offices in Huddinge, Tumba, Skärholmen, and Södertälje, based from Moraberg/Skärholmen, we are looking for an engaged and flexible colleague. Within the customer area, we work as a team and help each other, which means that you will have the opportunity to work throughout the customer area.
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting upon agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
What You Bring
- Experience in service and/or sales
- Experience working with a customer focus
- Good administrative skills and familiarity with various business systems and the Office package
- Have a B driver's license and access to your own car.
We Consider It an Advantage If You Also:
- Speak multiple languages
- Have experience in our or a related field.
- Have experience working with different cultures
Who We Are Looking For
We always focus on the customer's needs and wishes. This means that you need to have a strong commitment to the customer, be confident in your skills, and meet people with care and understanding. To handle and create security in difficult situations, you need to be attentive, communicative, and clear. The ability to make business decisions is also an important part of the role. We always strive to develop and improve, and therefore we believe that you are curious about others' perspectives, enjoy changing things for the better, and take your own initiatives for development.
In this position, you will handle a large funeral vehicle and therefore need to feel comfortable in traffic. Heavy lifting is also involved, so good physical condition is important.
What We Offer
With us, you have the opportunity to strengthen both your personal and professional development. We invest in skills development and have training programs for new employees and courses for those who want to specialize. Some of our other benefits include:
- Collective agreement including insurance & occupational pension
- Employee discounts
- 4,000 SEK in wellness allowance each year
- Subsidized lunch with Rikskortet
