Summer Job as Operations Technician at Gärstad and Power Plant KV1!

Do you want to gain valuable experience in the operation of production facilities while developing your technical skills? At Tekniska verken, we are now offering an exciting summer job as an operations technician where you will work closely with the environment, technology, and modern energy production.

About the position:

As an operations technician, you will be part of one of our shift teams and participate in the operation of our production facilities, which includes monitoring in the control room and independent rounds. The position is within the Production division, which includes Gärstadverket and Power Plant KV1. At our production facility Gärstad, the position also involves operating our waste cranes to some extent. In your work, you will also engage with the environment, technology, regulation, and mechanics.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is studying or has completed a post-secondary education in technology, energy, or a similar field.
• Is a positive and curious person with a genuine interest in technology and who likes to take initiatives.
• Enjoys collaborating and working in a team.
• Has previous experience from similar facilities or is studying to become an operations technician in power and heat (meritorious).
• Holds certificates such as SSG, Hot Work, or Safe Lifting (meritorious).

For the position, you must be at least 18 years old, have a B driver's license since the work takes place at several of our facilities, and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as safety regulations and instructions need to be followed carefully.

Scope:

We are now looking for people for all our shift teams. The shift position includes varying working hours including evenings, nights, and weekends. The schedule period runs from 2026-06-01 to 2026-08-31. The positions are full-time, 100%. It is a significant advantage if you can work most of the period, but we understand that studies may require attention at the beginning of June and the end of August.
