We are looking for a Wind Turbine Technician who thrives in a dynamic and versatile role, while also taking pride in performing routine maintenance! In this position, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of wind turbines at our customers' wind farms.

How You Will Make an Impact

In this role, you will primarily perform maintenance and troubleshooting on wind turbines near Motala, Sweden. You will be based in our hub in Motala and travel to surrounding locations in the area. This position offers the opportunity to apply your knowledge in electricity, hydraulics, and mechanics. Together with your colleagues, you will solve on-site problems to ensure high operational reliability and deliver excellent service to our customers.

Other Responsibilities and Tasks

A significant part of the job is to ensure that work on-site is always performed with safety as the highest priority. For electrical work, we operate according to the Swedish electrical standard (SS-EN 50110-1).
You will support our customers both remotely and on-site, performing service and maintenance work, as well as resolving product issues. This includes implementing improvements and modifications.
You will play a key role in ensuring that annual maintenance is completed on time, performed efficiently, and documented in a structured and organized manner.
You are responsible for reporting and documenting your work.
You will work alongside Siemens Gamesa colleagues as well as subcontractors. Good collaboration is an important part of your daily work.
Travel may involve overnight stays, and you must be prepared for that.

Our employees' knowledge is important to us. Therefore, at the beginning of your employment, you will participate in various training programs designed to support and accelerate your development with us at Siemens Gamesa, which will involve additional travel with overnight stays.
