Service Technician

At Svensk Plaståtervinning, we have decided that all plastic packaging in our country should be recycled and turned into new plastic products. We operate Europe’s most efficient sorting facility. With groundbreaking technology and doubled capacity, Site Zero creates the conditions to recycle all our producer customers' plastic packaging and enables circular plastic flows - without negative climate impact.

We are forming a strong team that works to make the vision a reality. We are now taking the next step to expand our organization and are looking for someone who wants to join us on the journey as a service technician.

About the role

As a service technician, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and following up on maintenance work in the facility. You will work both preventively and reactively, focusing on operational reliability, quality, and continuous improvement.

Your main tasks will include:

• Planning and performing preventive maintenance
• Troubleshooting and carrying out repairs in a fully automated facility
• Working on improvements to optimize performance and availability
• Managing spare parts and consumables
• Being responsible for order and structure in the shared workshop
• Contributing to the adherence and development of safety routines

You will work closely with production and be an important partner in creating stable and efficient processes.

We are looking for someone who has:

· A high school education in maintenance, vehicle, or workshop technology, and preferably post-secondary education in maintenance technology

· Experience in maintenance work of fully automated facilities

· Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Desirable competencies:

• Hot work
• Mechanical processing
• Scissor lift certification
• Experience with MRP/MPS or maintenance systems
• Competence in control and regulation
• Electrical/telecommunications
• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics
