Job Summary
As a Production Engineer, you will perform routine characterizations for production and assist with equipment maintenance, daily checks, and monitoring. You will prepare wafers for cleaning and packaging and contribute to order and maintenance in the laboratory. The person in this role reports to the production manager and is responsible for a number of specific tasks listed below under responsibilities.
The role involves shift work.
Responsibilities
- Daily production: Prepare, operate, and post-process products in the production reactor.
- Characterization: Perform daily characterizations and/or inspections (e.g., optical microscopy, electrical measurements, X-ray diffraction).
- Characterization methods include: thickness mapping, resistivity measurement, LEI measurement, capacitance-voltage measurement, optical microscopy, X-ray diffractometry, atomic force microscopy.
- Most measurement tools are semi-automated.
- Monitor and document hardware and equipment status.
- Calibrate equipment according to intervals.
- Assist in the maintenance of hardware and equipment.
- Preparation of clean substrates for production and R&D.
- Cleaning and packaging of wafers.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the laboratory.
- Data entry and management in ERP/MES systems.
- Support XRD data simulations.
- Support production planning and prioritization.
Requirements
- High school diploma or bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
- Professional level of English.
- Experience working in a production environment.
- Experience with ISO 9001, 5S, and continuous improvements.
- Able to write, update, review, and follow instructions.
- Office 365.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
- Experience working in cleanroom environments.
- Strong sense of quality, responsibility, and accuracy.
- Able to work with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Driver's license B.
