Your Role

The maintenance department is responsible for ensuring high technical availability and quality of our production equipment. The department currently consists of about 30 employees, including maintenance technicians, maintenance engineers, buyers, and warehouse managers.

As a maintenance technician, you will be part of an engaged and friendly team responsible for maintaining high technical availability of Saab's machinery. You will work independently and variably, and you will have a wide range of tasks with the opportunity to focus deeper on areas that you find particularly interesting, thus shaping your own development. As a newcomer to the department, you will be well taken care of and will work alongside an experienced technician for an extended period to receive a solid introduction to the job.

Your tasks will include, among others:

• emergency repairs
• troubleshooting
• training of operators
• preventive and corrective maintenance
• improvement work

During the introductory period, your working hours will be scheduled for daytime, but will gradually transition to shift work.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with an interest and curiosity for technology. You enjoy taking responsibility and find it easy to collaborate with others. We believe you are someone who can easily adapt to different situations that arise and is motivated by problem-solving. You have good computer skills and proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We see that you have a technical education at the high school level or higher, preferably in manufacturing, technology, or electrical fields, and have several years of work experience in a relevant area. We would also appreciate experience working in a production environment, and it is a plus if you have experience with machining (e.g., milling and turning) and/or automation.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
