Job Opening – Bus Mechanic Electric Vehicles

Are you a skilled mechanic with experience in heavy vehicles and an interest in electric vehicles? Then this could be the right job for you! We are currently looking for a dedicated bus mechanic focused on electric vehicles for our depot in Motala.

Job Description

As a bus mechanic with us, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our electric vehicles. You will ensure that the work is carried out in a professional and quality-assured manner while following our safety procedures. We provide training for the relevant vehicle type.

Workplace Description

You will be part of the workshop team at our depot in Motala and report to your immediate supervisor.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform service, maintenance, and repairs of electric vehicles, both independently and in teams
• Troubleshoot and assess repair actions in consultation with management
• Carry out repairs according to professional standards
• Maintain spare parts inventory and workshop equipment
• Participate in improvement and development work within the workshop

Qualifications

• Technical or automotive engineering education (or equivalent documented experience)
• At least 2 years of experience as a mechanic for heavy vehicles
• Experience with troubleshooting systems
• Good knowledge of electricity (low voltage) and reading technical drawings
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Driver's license with at least B category (D license is an advantage)

Employment type: Permanent position after a probationary period.
