Your Responsibilities
You will be part of the IT department's development unit, which consists of about 50 people. As a project manager, you will have various assignments ranging from system development projects and procurement of standard systems to implementing new features in our existing support systems for the Parliament's decision-making process. You will lead and drive projects and assignments that may be within the unit as well as in other parts of the organization. In many assignments, requirements and needs work is a central part. It is important that you are engaged, have the ability to understand the business and users, and enjoy having multiple parallel assignments.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a post-secondary degree in IT or another relevant field, or work experience deemed equivalent. You have several years of work experience in:
- project management in system development
- leading IT projects from concept to delivery according to project management models
- ensuring that business needs are translated into IT requirements
- managing project budgets and resource allocation
- coordinating and communicating with stakeholders, internal teams, and external suppliers
- developing and following up on project plans
- agile development work
- needs and requirements analysis.
Experience in the following areas is advantageous:
- business modeling (stakeholder models, process models, etc.)
- change management
- procurement in the public sector (Public Procurement Act)
- knowledge of information and IT security and accessibility.
Experience working within government agencies and knowledge of project and business management models is also advantageous.
As a person, you are a driven, self-sufficient, and organized team player who thrives in a dynamic work environment. You have strong communication skills and are good at building good relationships. You also have a natural problem-solving mindset and the ability to handle complex tasks.
Great importance will be placed on your personal qualities, especially your ability to create good, effective collaborations and communicate in speech and writing in Swedish.
The position is classified in a security class, which in this case requires Swedish citizenship and a successful security clearance. We welcome applicants with diverse experiences and backgrounds.
