About the Unit

The Office of Information Technology contributes to the capabilities of Must by realizing information systems and information services in support of Must's intelligence and security services. The KIT staff coordinates the operations at the office and supports the technical departments of the office regarding the responsibility for Must's information systems.

Main Responsibilities

As a Signals Protection Officer at KIT, you will have a broad area of work where signals protection is the main focus. Other tasks include assisting in security and IT security issues, and eventually being able to act as the office's security person. The position is located at the office's staff, which coordinates the office's operations and supports the office management.

As a Signals Protection Officer at KIT, you will coordinate assignments and cases within the office as well as with central area functions within Must. The work includes planning, monitoring, and ongoing coordination within the signals protection and security area.

Qualifications

  • Relevant academic degree, or equivalent competence acquired through professional experience within or outside the Armed Forces.
  • Trained card or key administrator at TSS

Desirable Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in the signals protection area
  • Basic course in Signals Protection, T2
  • Experience in card/key administration, as well as certification orders
  • Experience with TSA and KaP routines in ISUS
  • Good knowledge of PKI
  • Signals Protection Chief Training, TSS Ch FM/CIV
  • Experience working as NAV and NBV or equivalent formal training from TSS
  • Experience working in command/communication functions within FM
  • Broad knowledge of IT and network security.
  • Experience working with security protection and IT security
  • Experience working in a government agency
  • Knowledge of the Armed Forces' operations in general and intelligence and security services in particular

We also appreciate a flexible approach and the ability to take initiative to solve arising problems. You are also interested in contributing to the development of working methods and approaches.
