About the role

As an Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and further developing Nobina's infrastructure platforms, both on-prem and in the cloud. The role is strategic and technically deep, but also highly collaborative.

You will become a central advisor and driving force in the modernization journey, working with architectural principles, standardization, security, lifecycle management, and technical choices.

Your main responsibilities

In this role, you will help ensure that Nobina's IT infrastructure is robust, future-proof, and cost-effective. You will drive architectural issues from idea to implementation and assist the organization in making the right decisions regarding technology, platforms, and investments.

You will work closely with IT teams, security functions, vendors, and the business, taking an active role in creating structure, direction, and consensus.

Examples of tasks

• Develop and hand over infrastructure architecture, target vision, and technical roadmap for on-prem and cloud
• Design and further develop platforms within compute, networking, storage, identity, and security
• Drive modernization and transformation
• Be a technical advisor in projects and change initiatives through requirements work, design, risk assessment, and decision-making
• Ensure that solutions follow security-by-design, compliance, and best practices
• Create and maintain architectural principles, documentation, and reference architectures
• Have a central role in dialogue with vendors and partners regarding solutions, design, and delivery
• Be a clear technical ambassador internally who can explain and inspire

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is visionary, technically strong, and has a natural ability to sell the right solutions. You see the big picture and can set a clear direction for how the infrastructure should develop going forward, while also having deep expertise and being confident in designing stable, secure, and scalable solutions. You are skilled at anchoring your proposals, creating engagement, and bringing both IT and the business along so that ideas become reality. As a person, you are communicative, solution-oriented, and enjoy working closely with various stakeholders.

We believe you have

• Relevant post-secondary education in IT or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in IT infrastructure in larger and complex environments
• Good knowledge of virtualization, such as VMware
• Experience with cloud services, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of networking, identity, security, and infrastructure design
• Familiarity with architecture, standardization, and technical choices
• Very good Swedish and English in spoken and written form

Meritorious

• Experience with hybrid architecture and migration strategies
• Automation and IaC, such as Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible
• Experience with Zero Trust, IAM, and modern security architecture
• Vendor management, contract follow-up, and technical procurements
