Security Analyst for Nordlo Improves SOC Team

Do you have a strong interest in IT security and cyberattacks, a high sense of service, and a few years of experience working in IT security or even in a SOC? Do you also enjoy working evenings, weekends, and nights? Then the role of Security Analyst in Nordlo Improves SOC team might be for you!

We are now looking for someone who wants to join us on our journey to develop our cyber defense in a role that involves analyzing and categorizing security incidents and driving this together with our senior security specialists.

What can you expect from the role?

IT security is a highly relevant issue for all companies, including our clients. Therefore, we at Nordlo are now developing our SOC team to deliver secure IT services to our customers.

In this role, you will work with case management across various systems and IT environments. You will also work independently with alarm monitoring and identify, analyze, and mitigate threats in the environment.

It is also important that you are flexible and can work uncomfortable hours as scheduling will occur Monday-Sunday between 18-07 and daytime on Saturdays and Sundays.

Who are you?

We would like you to be:

  • A problem solver with a burning interest and curiosity for the field of IT security
  • Responsible, analytical, engaged, and attentive
  • Fluent in expressing yourself in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • A humble team player motivated by working in a team and succeeding with others

To succeed in this role, we also see that you meet one of the following:

  • Previously worked in a SOC or have other relevant professional experience in IT security
  • Knowledge and previous experience with Microsoft 365, SIEM systems, EDR tools, vulnerability management, and hardening of operating systems and case management systems
  • A strong interest in IT security and a curiosity that drives you to want to learn more
  • Previous experience in shift work
