About the Role

Vattenfall Värme in Nyköping is now looking for an electrician or power engineer who wants to help shape tomorrow's climate-smart society. About the Role

Vattenfall Värme in Nyköping operates the Idbäcksverket combined heat and power plant. We supply about 95 percent of the residents in central Nyköping with heat and electricity and contribute to the municipality's sustainability goals by promoting renewable heating and reducing the use of fossil oil. As a Power Engineer with us, you will play an important role in our maintenance work by maintaining a safe facility with good operating conditions and high availability.

You will be responsible for:

• Short- and long-term maintenance planning for electrical power
• Practical daily electrical maintenance (FU/AU)
• Electrical safety issues
• Project work

You will belong to a competent team of 9 people but will also collaborate with other groups at the facility, such as Operations and Safety/Health.

Requirements

To succeed with us, we see that you have several years of experience working in electricity and power, either as an electrical technician, industrial electrician, or power engineer.

You need to have:

• Technical education in electricity, power, or electrical engineering
• Good knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards
• Experience in project work and collaboration with different professional groups
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B
